Salinas Valley Health Has Been A Proud Member Of CMNH Since 1989

Since 1989, Salinas Valley Health has been a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), a national charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for children’s healthcare needs across North America. As one of 170 member hospitals, Salinas Valley Health receives donations through CMNH’s many national corporate partnerships, but most importantly, every dollar raised locally stays local to help children in our local tri-county community.

Since 1989, local donors and corporate partners have contributed over $22 million to local children’s healthcare needs throughout the Salinas Valley and surrounding communities. Salinas Valley Health Medical Center is the only CMN Hospital for all of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties and 100% of local fundraising within these three counties directly benefits our program.

The annual fundraising schedule for our local CMNH Program includes national programs such as Extra Life (a gaming marathon), Miracle Network Dance Marathon, and more than a dozen corporate Miracle Balloon fundraising campaigns. Fundraising takes place year round through peer-to-peer campaigns, monthly giving opportunities, and special events.
