Cherry Chocolate Chip Soft Serve

Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 4 medium bananas, sliced into 1 inch chunks, frozen
- 1 and 1/2 cups frozen dark cherries, pitted
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp unsweetened almond milk, as needed
Toppings (optional):
- dark chocolate pieces
- cacao nibs
- crushed peanuts
- chocolate covered espresso beans
Directions:
- Slice bananas into 1 inch chunks and freeze for 2-3 hours or overnight.
- Combine frozen banana chunks, frozen cherries, and vanilla extract in food processor. Pulse on medium until crumbly, stopping now and then to scrape down the sides.
- Give time and patience to reach blended stage, adding almond milk as needed for creamy, smooth texture.
- Immediately spoon “nice” cream into a serving dish and add optional toppings. You can also place the “nice” cream in a freezer to serve later by storing in a covered container. When ready to serve, allow to thaw 5-10 minutes to soften and scoop.
