Exercise Challenge
Exercise is one of our best tools towards preventing chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol and heart disease. Salinas Valley Health invites you to participate in the 2025 Exercise Challenge as a part of Heart Month. Exercise Challenge is an annual community-wide fitness challenge that encourages participants to achieve 150 minutes or more of aerobic activity each week during the month of February.

Walk With A Doc
Salinas Valley Health invites the community to Walk With A Doc. A Salinas Valley Health provider will answer participant's questions during and after the walk on the specific health topic. Participants will walk between 1.5- 2 miles. Healthy snacks and health information will also be provided to participants.
Join us for the next walk on February 8, 2025. This walk will be led by our Chief Clinical Officer, Timothy Albert, MD, MHCM, as he discusses how to lower your risk for developing heart disease.

Go Red For Women
Celebrate National Wear Red Day® with Go Red For Women on February 7, 2025 to help fight women’s No. 1 killer—heart disease. Join the movement nationwide and learn how you can honor women by going to www.goredforwomen.org.
February Red Hat Campaign
Every baby born at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center during the month of February will go home with a hand-made red hat courtesy of our own dedicated hat making volunteers and the American Heart Association Little Hats Big Hearts campaign.
