Transport Vehicle for Patients

When a patient stays with us at the Salinas Valley Health Medical Center, we aim to provide a favorable experience. In doing so, we have added a new feature to transporting our patients from one area to another. Specifically, patients that need to have an MRI performed, will be transported through a vehicle equipped with a top of the line Stryker gurney and loading system similar to what is used in ambulances. Our staff has had multiple training sessions in ensuring a successful rollout of this new system. Funding for this initiative was provided by our own Salinas Valley Health Foundation.
