Complexions Skincare & Body Supports Salinas Valley Health Foundation’s Comprehensive Cancer Care Fund

Complexions Skincare & Body raises funds for the
Salinas Valley Health Foundation from October 7th through November 7th

Salinas, California; Complexions Skincare & Body in Salinas is proudly supporting Salinas Valley Health Foundation’s Comprehensive Cancer Care Fund by launching a “Small Business, Big Impact” campaign in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From October 7th to November 7th, $25 from every HydraFacial and DiamondGlow Facial purchased will be donated to the Salinas Valley Health Foundation, along with donations collected at the checkout desk.

Complexions Skincare & Body selected the Comprehensive Cancer Care Fund as their focus for this campaign, knowing that many employees, clients, friends, and loved ones have been impacted by cancer in some way. A cancer diagnosis is something faced not only by the patient, but by their families and loved ones, and philanthropy plays a part in helping Salinas Valley Health to provide a full spectrum of services, resources, and care for those facing cancer. Funds raised through this campaign may be used to provide support for inpatient oncology services or at our state-of-the-art Outpatient Infusion Center. Donations also provide critical resources at no cost to patients through the Susan Bacon Cancer Resource Center including education, support groups, patient comfort bags, wigs and headscarves, and even addresses basic needs like transportation and food insecurity.

We are very thankful to the Complexions Skincare & Body team for partnering with us to raise funds in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We value the opportunity to work with small businesses who are passionate about giving back to the community and who want to make an impact in our patients’ lives.” says Emily Gonzalez, Annual Programs Coordinator at Salinas Valley Health Foundation; “Every donation matters and together they add up to make a big impact!

Small Business, Big Impact was created during the pandemic as an effort to drive business to struggling small businesses while also supporting healthcare during a very stressful and uncertain time. Since then, while many small businesses are back to “normal” operations, they still seek ways to give back to their community, and Small Business, Big Impact is an easy and effective way to do just that.
