Salinas Valley Health New Year's Babies

The labor and delivery team at Salinas Valley Health celebrated the births of three babies born at the hospital on January 1, 2023. The third and final baby of New Year's Day arrived at 10:40pm, just in time to share a birthday with her grandfather who was also born on January 1st! 

Vivica Ivy Sharp is the daughter of Valerie Tolentino and Trentin Sharp, who live in Greenfield. Little Vivica Ivy was 8lbs, 11.7oz at birth and measured 20 inches long. She has an older brother, age six. 

Valerie says "This was a wonderful experience and great way to welcome the new year. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. If we have another, we will definitely come back to Salinas Valley Health Medical Center. I think it's unique that she will share a birthday with my dad, who was also born on January first!"
