Salinas Valley Health Memorial Day Flags, A Special Tribute

May 27, 2020 This Memorial Day weekend Salinas Valley Health is honoring the memory of members of the United States Armed Forces with a flag tribute. One hundred small flags are visible to the public in front of the hospital along E. Romie Lane in Salinas.

The display is intended as meaningful recognition of the service and sacrifice of fallen heroes. We are proud that many of our Salinas Valley Health team members now dedicated to the health of the community also served our country with honor, including Salinas Valley Health President/CEO Pete Delgado.

The flag tribute will remain up through Memorial Day as we all take a moment to pause, give thanks and reflect on the true meaning of the long holiday weekend.
