About the provider

A urologist who specializes in robotic surgery and urologic oncology including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer, Lior Taich, MD, has expertise in diverse range of conditions involving the genitourinary system. He is adept at female pelvic reconstructive surgery, treatment of kidney stones and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Dr. Taich is also skilled in robotic surgery, which can help improve patient outcomes through highly precise procedures.

After immigrating to the United States at the age of ten, Dr. Taich grew up in Northern California. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and was excited to return to California for training. Dr. Taich completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Following that, he pursued a fellowship in urologic oncology and robotic surgery at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Taich has co-authored peer-reviewed publications focused on prostate cancer, robotic kidney surgery, and female pelvic reconstruction techniques, and has presented his research at national conferences.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Taich enjoys reading about psychology and anthropology, as well as weightlifting, martial arts and hiking.
