About the provider
Kelly Gram, MD, serves as a hospitalist where he enjoys providing care in the inpatient setting, appreciating the range of pathologies, challenges and rewards it offers. Dr. Gram has served as Co-Director of Hospitalist Medicine Service at Salinas Valley Health since 2017.
Growing up in the central Texas town of Kerrville, he attended the University of Texas at Austin. He later worked as a CNA at a nursing facility before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural El Salvador. The richness of his experiences abroad prompted him to pursue his medical studies at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico before returning stateside to complete his education at New York Medical College.
Dr. Gram completed his residency in family medicine at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California where he met his wife. He joined Salinas Valley Health in 2015 and says he is very happy to be part of such a great organization. When not at work, Dr. Gram enjoys his family, the outdoors – including surfing, slow-going home improvement projects and trying to appreciate each day to the fullest.
