Juan R. Rodriguez, MD, is a practitioner who enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration and putting theory into practice. Highly involved in the development and introduction of new, minimally invasive therapeutic procedures to our community, Dr. Rodriguez also directs a variety of quality improvement projects.
Born and raised in Spain, he earned his doctorate in medicine from the University of Zaragoza School of Medicine, graduating cum laude in 1998. Following his move to the United States, Dr. Rodriguez began with a transitional internship at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana and completed his diagnostic radiology training there in 2005. Dr. Rodriguez finished his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at UC San Francisco Medical Center in 2006.
With a deep-commitment to research and education, Dr. Rodriguez is a widely published author and sought-after lecturer.
He and his wife are the proud parents of three children and have lived in Santa Cruz since 2006.
