Joshua Tan, DO, MPH, joined Salinas Valley Health as a hospitalist in October 2018. Sometimes called an “inpatient physician,” a hospitalist is a physician who focuses exclusively on the care of hospitalized patients.
Dr. Tan earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. He completed his internal medicine internship, residency, and chief residency at Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix. Dr. Tan is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In his leisure time, Dr. Tan enjoys hiking, indoor rock climbing, and playing tennis.
