About the provider

Eyda S. Calero Bellorin, NP, has more than three decades of experience as a practitioner, educator, researcher, business owner and community healthcare advocate. A bilingual medical professional, her mastery of Spanish supports her work with a broad base of patients. Eyda has worked with patients of all ages, ranging from children to adults to seniors.

Eyda previously served as a neuroanatomy professor at the Catholic University of Honduras where she founded a neuroanatomy lab now used by approximately 200 students every term. Eyda earlier worked as a blindness prevention program coordinator. Prior to that, she was a general practitioner who teamed with a psychologist and a nutritionist to teach people how to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Eyda has a long history of volunteer service in the field of medicine and is passionate about supporting patients in underserved areas.
