A physician assistant since 2008, Erin Golec, PA-C, has a wide range of experience ranging from service at trauma centers to family medicine. Now specializing in pulmonology, Golec works to provide high-quality medical care and compassion with a collaborative team environment for patients with pulmonary illnesses and needs.

Golec began work in the field of healthcare as an emergency medical technician. She earned her master of medical science as a physician assistant from St. Louis University in 2007. Later serving in Vermont at a Level 1 Trauma Center and then a rural primary care clinic, she relocated to the Central Coast of California in 2011. Golec worked in family medicine and a multi-specialty clinic, eventually transitioning to the VA Palo Alto Healthcare outpatient clinic in Marina, California. One of her primary areas of focus was on respiratory conditions and in 2021, she was appointed Respiratory Clinic Lead for the organization.

Golec has participated in medical mission trips to Nepal and supported other health-focused community service. She is an avid outdoors and sports enthusiast who has completed numerous marathons and half-marathons. Golec has also been involved in service positions for the Big Sur International Marathon and the Triathlon Club of Monterey.
