David C. Roy, MD
About the provider
Dr. David Roy grew up in the outdoors of Grand Junction, Colorado prior to attending medical school at the University of Colorado. While in medical school he realized his interest in hand surgery, seeing how people from all walks of life are reliant on their hands for both work and everyday activities. He enjoys helping patients with any and all problems of the hand, wrist, and elbow. His interest ranges from complicated traumatic and post-traumatic injuries to everyday aches and pains.
Dr. Roy moved to the Salinas area with his wife and daughter after completing his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at University of California San Francisco. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Roy completed his residency at St Luke’s Orthopedic Surgery Residency in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Having grown up in the mountains, rivers, and deserts of Colorado, Dr. Roy has a penchant for being outside. He and his family spend much of their time biking, skiing, hiking, climbing, and generally using any excuse to enjoy the outdoors.
